We Canucks may have a mythic international reputation (and self-image) as a nation of hardy winter warriors who joyously, skate, ski, ice fish and trek our way through months of cold and snow, but in recent decades our love affair with winter seems to be going sour. What’s happened to our Canadian “cold” genes? Have we gone soft and lost our "winter edge"? These are the opening questions of Life Below Zero, a light-hearted yet thought-provoking new documentary about Canadians and our changing relationship with winter., ISEP - International Student Entry Plus

According to a 2006 study of 15,000 post-secondary students in Canada, 58% of first-year students admitted to serious test cheating when they were in high school; 73% admitted to serious cheating on written work while in high school; 53% of undergraduate students admitted to at least one instance of serious cheating on written work sometime in the last year; 18% said they had cheated on a test in the last year. And it's not just students. Parents, teachers and school officials have been caught, too. Research shows those who cheat in school go on to cheat in life. Are cheaters the outcome of our win-at-any-costs society? Faking the Grade reveals what comprises a cheating offence (it's not a black or white matter), and how technology is being used to cheat; and to catch the cheaters., Please log-on to view the video.
